Let’s meet the expert orthodontist; Dr. Abbas Al Fardan.  
  • Bachelor degree in Dentistry, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. (With Distiction,1991)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Dental Surgery. (Medal performance, 1997)
  • Master in Orthodontics from University of Edinburgh. (With Honor, 1997)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Orthodontics.(1997)
  • Membership certificate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthodontics.(1998)
  • Diploma in Health Care Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. (With distinction and Ministry of Health Award for Outstanding Performance, 2002)
  • Certified International Instructor (International Association of Orthodontics, IAO-USA)


WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Work as General Dentist in Ministry of Health, Bahrain. (1992-2005)
  • Registrar of Orthodontics in Royal Hospital in Edinburgh and Queen Victoria Hospital. (Scotland,UK ; 1995-1998)
  • Orthodontist in Ministry of Health,Bahrain. (1998-1999)
  • Consultant Orthodontist in Ministry of Health, Bahrain. (1999-2011)
  • Regional Dental Adviser in Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. (1999-2008)
  • Coordinator of the Graduate Program for Dentist. (Kingdom of Bahrain, 2001-date)
  • Director of Oral Health Services in Ministry of Health. (2003-2008)
  • Opened his own Orthodontic Clinic in Noor Specialist Hospital that has 3 dental rooms, dental services, radiology and jaws. (February 2002-Present)

    Thumps Up for this article. I will defiantly share this article with my dentist community:) They are good professionals. Of course general cosmetic dentistry is more diverse than just doing teeth make straight with braces. Braces do not make your mouth smell like metal at all, So I'm going with braces Invisalign will more effectively but their costs a lot more but is defiantly as effective than other braces.
